Videos

I used AI to create the videos below.
Each one uses an excerpt from one of my compositions as its soundtrack.

    • Dreams We Share

The music is an excerpt from my composition Dream Essence for flute, viola and cello.
    • Once In A Red Moon

The music is an excerpt from my woodwind quintet entitled Metaphors and Contrasts.
    • Passages 2

The music is a cue from a Universal film I scored with string section and percussion. The film title is Trapped, starring Kathleen Quilan.
    • Protests and Celebrations

The music is from an album called Two Together, an American Folk Music Suite. The music is themes and variations on American Folk Music which I composed and produced with the recording done in Prague and released on the At Peace label.
    • Good Trouble

What drew me to making AI videos is the ease (with a bit of a technical learning curve) of going from imagination to realization. This one is inspired by stormy currents in American Culture. The music is an excerpt from my composition for flute, viola and cello with the same title.
    • Klezmer Noel

The music is the end title for an ABC animated special entitled Edith Ann’s Christmas, starring Lily Tomlin.
    • A Ballerina’s Dream

The music is from the collections of pieces intended for a film to be directed the Italian director who is a friend and wrote a beautiful script for the film that got caught up political problems…and never came to life.
    • Escape Into Art and Peace

My new video uses a composition that I wrote for Red Cedar Chamber Music, a wonderful ensemble that I was fortunate to collaborate with on a number of projects.
    • Essay For Guitar

This video is dedicated to Shiri Coneh, a wonderful Israeli classical guitarist who plays this excerpt from my composition entitled Essay For Guitar. Shiri and her family are in Israel and are bravely enduring the war. Shiri continues with her artful work with even more passion as a constant threat to survival is her reality.
    • I Had A Dream

The music is two cues from films I’ve scored. The opening music is from the Universal film “Trapped” starring Kathleen Quinlan and the second piece from my Emmy winning score for a documentary entitled “Dying with Dignity”. Thanks to my friends for your supportive comments on this new endeavor of mine, giving some of my compositions a second life.
    • Friendly Planet

The music is an excerpt from one of my very early scores composed for documentary on hunger in Los Angeles.
    • The Flight of the Basilisks

A mysterious mythical being. Its myth is defined by terrifying supernatural abilities, a bizarre birth from a rooster's egg and a toad that incubates it. The music is an orchestral excerpt I composed which was recorded in Prague for an album of an entirely different nature.
    • Forest Healing

The music is an excerpt from a composition I was commissioned to write for an awesome ensemble in Iowa City, Red Cedar Chamber Music. I’ve always had a special fondness for this excerpt and the beautiful, emotional performance it received…and that is what inspired the video.
    • Secret Romance of the Trees

A more abstract visual episode than the others I’ve made recently. The music is what I intended as the love theme for a movie that was written and was to be directed by a very gifted Italian director friend and, unfortunately, it never was made.
    • Tempests of the Muses

The music is an excerpt from a piano piece I wrote called Moods of a Goddess. The recording is an excerpt from the premiere performance of the work in Chicago by Carol Honigberg a few years ago.
